Shandong Provincial Foreign Investment and Trade Collaborative Exchange Conference
On December 25, 2025, the Shandong Provincial Conference on Coordinated Development of Outbound Investment and Trade (and International Engineering Procurement Matchmaking Conference) was held in Jinan, Shandong Province. The event aimed to promote cooperation between enterprises in Shandong Province and central state-owned enterprises as well as enterprises from other provinces, and to further deepen integrated and coordinated development among outbound investment, overseas contracting projects, cross-border e-commerce, and other emerging foreign trade business models.
Wang Lei, Director of the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce, attended the event and delivered a keynote address. Fang Aiqing, President of the China Council for International Investment Promotion, was also present. Li Yongjun, Specially Invited Vice President of the China Council for International Investment Promotion; Guan Jiaxin, Deputy General Manager of China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation and Party Secretary and General Manager of CRCC International Investment; and Tian Qingjun, Senior Vice President of Envision Group and President of Envision Energy Storage, delivered speeches on site. The conference was chaired by Zhang Qingwei, Deputy Director of the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce.
Jointly organized by the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce and the China Council for International Investment Promotion, the event attracted representatives from more than 210 well-known central state-owned enterprises and leading enterprises from within and outside Shandong Province. Nearly 400 participants attended the conference, including representatives from enterprises and heads of commerce authorities from all 16 cities in Shandong Province.
During the event, guests shared insights and conducted project presentations focusing on international business development strategies, international cooperation along overseas investment and supply chains, corporate development planning, and integrated development of outbound investment and trade. Trade and investment negotiations were carried out in areas such as outbound investment cooperation, international engineering procurement, and comprehensive services for enterprises going global, promoting practical and results-oriented cooperation.

At the event, the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce and the China Council for International Investment Promotion signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The Jinan Area of the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone (Shanhaijing Going-Global Comprehensive Service Port) signed coordinated development cooperation agreements on site with six enterprises. In addition, relevant enterprises and partners signed cooperation agreements covering the joint construction of overseas industrial parks, equipment and material procurement, and engineering construction projects.
Various companies and groups conducted project presentations and engaged in in-depth discussions on future cooperation opportunities.
